About Us
Who are we?
Founded in 1992, The Intrigue Group’s mission is to make every experience as spectacular as possible. Our work motto is “Work Smart, Have Fun, and “Show me the Money!” in that order.
We started in alternative rock radio, Channel Z, in 1992 and then music artist management in 1993. We grew to 14 radio stations winning awards and making a difference in our communities along the way. In 2004 we exited the changing radio business.
We continued with artist management and in 2004 added our music publishing group. Over the years, we have had the honor to manage musical artists James Brown, Scott Stapp (Creed), Curt Smith (Tears for Fears), Gene Loves Jezebel, The Judybats, Old Man Canyon, Chris Wall (Air Traffic), BellX1, Babel Gilberto, Mario Frangoulis, and Russian superstars Philip Kirkorov and Dima Bilan among others. We also had the privilege of working with Rev. Al Sharpton for three years.
Our music publishing group is proud to work with International Music Composers ranging from award winning film scoring geniuses Evanthia Reboutsika and Stuart Bogie to Patrick Watson and Jett Pace (Old Man Canyon)
In 2015, we entered the broadcasting world with WTXX New Haven and WRNT Hartford. We produced original shows and content including multiple award winning “Ghost Rapper,” award winning “Pop Up Psychic” and “Just Eat It.” In 2017, WCRN was born in Providence. In 2020, WCRN moved to its new home in Quincy, MA. We now have a total of nine stations and growing.
Dare to Care is our give back to our community. From our radio says when we placed thousands of volunteers with community organizations along with our Dare to Care Concert fundraisers to our broadcast television world where we run Dare to Care volunteer opportunities to inspire you to get out there to do something, anything for your community. Just get involved.
We hope you are inspired and intrigued by us!
